Traditional performance 'The Spirit of Wind' |

Traditional Korean culture performance hall Samcheonggak,
which reopened after a 50-day renovation period, is
holding traditional Korean court dance performances
of the Joseon dynasty titiled "The Spirit of Wind'
from August 22 at its new Yepuri hall. "The Spirit
of Wind" features royal court dances such as the
knife dance, crane dance, and flower crown dance, and
will be held for three years. Samcheonggak was established
by the Sejong Center for the Performing Arts on October
29, 2001. Since then, it has held traditional performances
and traditional culture classes and attracted 80,000
visitors, becoming established as a popular place in
Seoul to relax and experience traditional Korean culture.
The special performance is held on 8 pm from Monday
to Friday, and 4 pm on Saturday and Sunday. After the
performance, guests can enjoy taking pictures with the
performers at Ilhwadang garden.
To get to Samcheonggak, take the shuttle bus to Samcheonggak
in front of the Sejong Center for Performing Arts.
