The Seoul Metropolitan City Government promotes centrally located Innostels to provide foreign tourists with clean, cost-effective accommodations.
Innostel stands for [innovative hostel]. Previously, lower-priced accommodations like yeogwan (inns) or motels were difficult for non-Korean visitors to locate because of language barriers. Hotels could be conveniently booked through online English sites, but the rates were often high.
The Innostel program helps foreign tourists reserve affordable accommodations that have been certified clean and convenient.
